David was preceded in death by his brother Harold and sisters Berniece, Helen, and Gladys.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 11, at 11 am from the Crandell Funeral Home in White Cloud. When she and Bill made the move to Moose Jaw in 1965 she spent her time raising her children, working as a medical receptionist, and later in life followed her passion of crafting full time. She married Milton Shier on April 20, 1968, in the Deerfield Methodist Church. They resided in Adrian and Deerfield during their married life. Milton preceded her in death March 24, 1998. LeMoyne graduated from Deerfield High School, attended County Normal and Siena Heights College, where she received her teaching degree. She taught in many of the country schools in Lenawee and Monroe counties, finishing her teaching years at Bedford, MI. She was the church organist for 50 years as a member of the Deerfield Methodist Church. LeMoyne was a member of Eastern Star, Blue Lodge and Commandery, where she had many friends. She is survived by four nieces and nephews, Karen (Donald) Spiegel of Palmyra, Mary (David) Fischer of Blissfield, Dennis Pfeffer of Adrian and Stephen (Bonnie) Pfeffer of Brooklyn, MI; and many great nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, LeMoyne is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Darl Arthur Pfeffer and his wife, Gertrude (Welker) Pfeffer; and a niece, Janet Hall-Baker. Funeral services for LeMoyne will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2013, at the Deerfield United Methodist Church in Deerfield with Pastor Sam Pooley officiating. Burial will follow at Deerfield Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday before the service from 9 to 11:00 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee.
