Pre-deceased by his brothers, Lloyd in infancy, Bert and Norman; parents John and Alice (Gibson) Bell.
Visitation at Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton, on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. with Moravian Lodge, Cargill #431 service at 6:45 p.m. and Wednesday 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. and where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 07, 2010 at 11:00 am.
Interment in Purdy's Cemetery, Greenock Township.

Page in Kegomic, the two were married for just short of 41 years until Willard’s death on April 30, 1990. On June 21, 1997 Virginia married Donald G. Allen, he preceded her in death on September 10, 2010. Virginia was proud to have been a lifelong resident of Kegomic and loved her little neighborhood on the shore of Little Traverse Bay. She was an active person who loved to travel and spend time outdoors. Over the years she enjoyed baseball, bowling and tennis and she especially enjoyed warm summer days picnicking with family and close friends. She was a member of the Petoskey United Methodist Church and the VFW Auxiliary.
Surviving Virginia are two of her six children, Mark (Pat) Page and Tammy (David) Bell; two grandchildren Trevor and Alexandria and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four of her children Connie, Wayne, Gary and Cindy, and by her siblings Ward, Frances, Ruth, John and Barb, and as mentioned previously her husbands, Willard Page and Donald Allen.
Her life will be remembered during a funeral service that will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Stone Funeral Home; Dr. James Mitchum of the Petoskey United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will take plane in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Stone Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. Those wishing to honor her memory or express their sympathy are encouraged to consider donations to the Petoskey VFW, Petoskey United Methodist Church or the Salvation Army. |

Louise was a very devout woman who prayed for her family and children of the world everyday. She was the special mother all her life of many needy children brought to her by other families, social workers and nurses. She was always concerned about children being hungry and had a great desire to love all children.
Louise is survived by her sons Joseph Dempsey (Betty) of Belledune, Melvin Dempsey (Sonya) of Belledune; daughters Mary Anderson (Michael) of Belledune and Kyah Louise Stewart of Dalhousie; 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; as well as her siblings Irene Benet Cassidy and Charles Benet.
She was predeceased by her first husband Aldon Dempsey and her second husband Leonard Chilvers; daughters Elizabeth (Betty) Ross and Paula McColm; as well as her siblings Joseph, Melinda, Philemone, Elizabeth, Lorette, Margaret, Henry, Paul and Walter.
Her funeral was held from St. Gabriels Church Jacquet River, December 21, 2016 officiated by Father Goldrup.
Donations to Saint Gabriel's Parish Church, Canadian Cancer Society or Jacquet River School's Nutrition Program in memory of Louise would be appreciated by the family.
