She is survived by her sons, Philip (Sandy) Shier, Tom (Julie) Shier, Fred (Anne) Shier and daughter Kathryn Robinson. Her memory will be cherished by her 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. The Mass of Catholic Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Church of the Resurrection, Lansing. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lansing. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. and pray the rosary at 7 p.m., Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 West Saginaw, Lansing.
