Dearly remembered by her grandchildren Amanda (Rodney) Hall, Heather Shier, Jeffrey Terry , Jennifer (Jeremy) Dunnett and several nieces and nephew. Dear sister of Lloyd (Ruth) Short of Port Perry. Predeceased by her husbands Bryce McGillvray and Doug Hamilton, one brother Clifford (Ruby) Short and one sister Helen (Clarence) Patterson. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Memorial Chapel, 98 River St. in Sunderland on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Thursday, September 3rd, 2009 at 11:00 am. Interment Sunderland Cemetery. As a remembrance, donations to Sunderland United Church, Port Perry Hospital or the Cannington Lawn Bowling Club, would be appreciated by the family. |

Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, May 3, from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Survived by his siblings, Lottie Bell, Rev. Walter Silver (Cheryl), Anne Teal (Clarke), Dale Silver (Paula) and Earl Silver (Linda). Predeceased by his brother Eric, in infancy. Also fondly remembered and missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as many friends and his church family at Kingston Alliance Church. Resting at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard. Friends will be received on Wednesday, from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral service in the Chapel, on Thursday, April 15, at 11:00 am., with Pastor Paul Silcock officiating. Interment at Sandhill Cemetery, Battersea.
