She was employed at the Wilson Foundry in Pontiac and Yellow Cab in Pontiac. May 14, 1946 she married Yeaman Johnson in Utica, Mi, having 65 wonderful years with him until his death in 2012. 1981 they moved from Clarkston, Mi. to their cottage on the Manistee River in Manton, Mi. and spent 31 winters in Zephyrhills, Florida. her life, she enjoyed many different activities such as baking, garage sales, various crafts, genealogy and her computer, but her favorite activity was spending time with family. She was never too busy for a visit phone conversation and was always the first to offer help if it was needed. absolutely delighted in spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed nothing more than a house full of family to fuss over. was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Yeaman; her parents; two sisters, Helen (Arthur) Olsen, Sara Eberhard; three brothers, Joseph Yingling, Loren Yingling; two sons-in-law, Randall Barger and Richard D. Niswander.

Mr. Zachary, 70, died Monday of Alzheimer's disease at Macon Northside Hospital.
As a labor relations manager at Georgia Power in Atlanta, Mr. Zachary handled contract negotiations with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and served as the company's representative in arbitration hearings.
Mr. Zachary got his start with the company's Macon office as an equipment operator. He held several managerial posts at power plants across Georgia before his promotion to the Atlanta office.
A retired lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps, Mr. Zachary had served a tour in China and commanded a Reserve unit in Rome, Ga.
Handy with his hands, Mr. Zachary constructed a seaworthy 21-foot sailboat in his back yard, even though "he had never sailed before," said his daughter, Mary-Kathryn Zachary of Carrollton. He also fashioned a radio transmitter so that he could easily locate his hunting dog.
Also surviving are his wife, Katherine Mullis Zachary; a daughter, Ginny Davis of Colorado Springs, Colo; a son, William Zachary of Macon; a brother, David Zachary of Tucker; and two grandchildren.
