Death* | Mary Ellen Deborah Wright died on 15 January 2019 at age 71; Debbie was the daughter of the late Jack Gibson Wright and Elvena Mae Wright (Nee Fawns) and the older sister of Timothy John McKenzie Wright.
The family moved to Nogales, Arizona where they owned a dog track. When Debbie was in her early teens, they returned to live in the Cabbage town are of Toronto and cottaged in Wasaga Beach.
After graduating from school, Debbie worked in the insurance industry.
Her Dad passed away on Feb 13, 1976. Elvena, Debbie and Tim oved to Queensville in the early 90's. Elvena passed away on January 11, 1999. After that Debbie and Tim moved to Midland. Unfortunately, Tim passed away on July 5, 2005.
After years of caring for her mom and brother, Debbie became a PSW and worked for the Red Cross until retirement. She had gone to nursing school when she was younger. Debbie was a giving person. She often made Thanksgiving and Christmas dinnner for the other tenants in the building that she lived in on Robert St. in Pentang. She gave away most of the chili sauce and jams that she liked to make. She was fluent in Spanish.
Debbie lvied a full life. She care a lot for others. Her possessions weren't large but what she had she shared with many. Her wishes were to share what she had with her cousins. Today we will honour her passing with family. |

May 14, 1946 she married Yeaman Johnson in Utica, Mi, having 65 wonderful years with him until his death in 2012. 1981 they moved from Clarkston, Mi. to their cottage on the Manistee River in Manton, Mi. and spent 31 winters in Zephyrhills, Florida. her life, she enjoyed many different activities such as baking, garage sales, various crafts, genealogy and her computer, but her favorite activity was spending time with family. She was never too busy for a visit phone conversation and was always the first to offer help if it was needed. absolutely delighted in spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed nothing more than a house full of family to fuss over. was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Yeaman; her parents; two sisters, Helen (Arthur) Olsen, Sara Eberhard; three brothers, Joseph Yingling, Loren Yingling; two sons-in-law, Randall Barger and Richard D. Niswander.
