Also remembered by his brothers David (Judy), Michael (Susan), sisters-in-law Louise Costa (late Albert), Lisa Michael (Wayne), and Suzanne Wright (Tim). Cherished uncle of Melissa, Jamie, Megan, Hannah, Grace, Shannon, Brooke, Joshua, Jeffrey, Zackery, Stephanie, and Jason. Missed by his precious cats, Louie and Bella. Predeceased by his parents Dorothy and Gordon Risebrough, father-in-law Walter Browning, mother-in-law Grace Browning, and sister-in-law Janice Corrigan. Paul found his greatest joy in time spent with his family, whether on camping trips, summer days at the cottage, ATVing, or visiting the family farm. Arguably the biggest fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, he stood by his team through every win and loss, with a patience and pride that family and friends couldn’t help but smile about. Paul had a way of bringing people together through laughter, good conversation, and his famously creative games. He dedicated 38 years to Dairy Farmers of Ontario, most recently serving as Associate Director of Logistics. His remarkable dedication to the dairy industry was evident throughout his life. Paul’s warmth, humour, and generous spirit touched everyone around him, and he will be truly missed. A Celebration of Paul’s life will be held at Sandford Community Centre, 433 Sandford Road, Uxbridge, on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM, with lunch and memories to be shared at 1:00 PM. In memory of Paul, friends and family are encouraged to show their support by wearing Toronto Maple Leafs attire. Friends are invited to share memories with the family. Cremation has been entrusted to Low & Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Besides her loving husband John, Gail is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Cheryl Rodericks and Lorne and Kelly Sturtevant of Calgary; five grandchildren, Cody, Katelyn, Sunny-Lee, Chelsey and Julia-Ann. She is also survived by her father William (friend Myrtle), sisters and brothers, Sylvia (Richard), Carol Lee (Donnie), Jim (Lisa) and Dennis (Brenda) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Gail was predeceased by her mother Beatrice. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Omega Funeral Home on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. with the Reverend Jona Weitzel officiating. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Omega Funeral Home on Monday, August 17, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Don Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery. William was born on October 14, 1924 in St. Boniface, Manitoba, son of Jack and Edith Robb. He was raised and received his education in the Harcus and Leifur Districts of Manitoba. He proudly served overseas in the Second World War, and was wounded while serving in Italy. He continued to serve until the end of the war. He returned to the family farm and later started his own farm in the Leifur Area. He married Beatrice Shotbolt on October 7, 1950 and together they had five children. He farmed and fished commercially with his brother John. He retired with Beatrice to Portage in 1999. William was very family and community orientated, as well as a very strong role model to his children and grandchildren. He loved to garden, fish, dance, and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Langruth Branch. Predeceased by his wife Beatrice, daughter Gail, sister May, he leaves to continue his legacy his children, Sylvia (Richard), Carol Lee (Donnie), Jim (Lisa), Dennis (Brenda); 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and his special friend Myrtle. Also surviving is one brother John (Bernice), many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Friends may call at the funeral home for visitation prior to the service. Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in William's name to a charity of your choice.
