Marie passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Meadow Park Nursing Home on Friday, March 30, 2018 at the age of 93.
Marie was born in Dover Township and was the daughter of the late Henry and Louise (Richie) Lauzon.
Beloved wife of the late Frank W. Russell (1999).
Loving mother of Ruth Ann Dunlop of Chatham, Judyann and Don Pepper of Chatham, Andy Russell (the late Mary Jo Krukowski) of London, Gail and John Van Dube of Blenheim, Fran and Lorne Philipow of Thamesville, and Fern and Martin Hines of Truro, Nova Scotia.
Sadly missed by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by daughters,Virginia Shier (1998), Rosemary Warner (2008), grandson Henry Shier (1998), great-grandson Dewayne Shreve, and brothers, Hector (Florence), Harvey and Alphonse.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON, on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.
The Funeral Service will take place at the McKinlay Funeral Home, on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Leona Wright, officiating.
Interment will be held in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Marie to the Pet and Wildlife Rescue, Ontario SPCA or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
