Arnold was born June 28th, 1924, to Arthur and Zella (Shier) Frampton at Carnduff, SK. The family moved to the Maloneck district in 1931, where they farmed until 1937, when they moved to the Black Pines district, twenty miles north of Kamloops, BC. In 1944, they moved back to Maloneck. After returning to Maloneck, at the age of twenty, Arnold worked side by side with his father, farming and logging. In 1951, he left looking for work and came home with the love of his life, Mary Irving. They were united in marriage on November 22nd, 1951, in Pleasantdale, SK. Arnold and Mary took over the family farm in 1953, when his parents retired and moved to Kamsack, SK. Together they went on to raise their family of four: Kenneth, Kathleen, Conard and Bernice. They were very active in their community and church, often involved with local events, as well as being very active in 4-H, teaching several of the local youth over the years. In 2008, Arnold and Mary moved to Pelly, handing over the reins of the family farm to their eldest son Kenneth. Arnold will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Arnold was predeceased by his wife, Mary; his parents, Arthur and Zella; his stepfather, William Hopkins; his brothers: Lloyd and Munroe; his sisters: Elsie, Evelyn and Hazel; his brothers-in-law: Tom, Harry, Ed, and Gilbert Irving, Arnold Kjelshus and Jim Angus; and his sisters-in law: Edith, Emily, Nancy and Ruby Irving. He is survived by his children: Kenneth (Patricia) Frampton of Pelly, SK, Kathleen (Robert) Lukey, of Pelly, SK, Conard (Sonia) Frampton of Norquay, SK and Bernice (Brian) Popaden of Westbank, BC; seventeen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; his brothers–in-law: John (Merle) Irving of Naicum, SK, and Alden (Edith) Berglund of Salmon Arm, BC; and his sisters-in-law: Ann Angus of Sylvania, SK, Elizabeth Kjelshus of Melfort, SK, Irene Irving of Tisdale SK, Lucille Stewart of Red Deer, AB and Mary Frampton of Calgary, AB. A Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th, 2013, from 7:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M., from the Chapel of Leson’s Funeral Home, Canora. The Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, April 16th, 2013, at 2:00 P.M. from the Pelly Fellowship Chapel, Pelly, SK. Interment followed in the Maloneck Community Cemetery. Those wishing to make expressions of sympathy may make donations to the Benito Health Centre, in memory of Arnold Frampton.

She had 7 siblings: Herbert, Don, Einar, Hilding Franson, Vera Wyshynski, Ingrid Buchinski and Linnea Moen. Martha Gudrun Margareta was born December 13, 1937 to Otto and Hildur Franson who farmed at Colonsay. Gudrun attended Nicklet and Colonsay Schools. Gudrun was a member of Elstow 4-H Poultry Club and in 1954 she represented Saskatchewan at the Toronto Royal Winter Fair, winning first place at Nationals. In 1957 she married Herb Shier and designed their home and beautiful farm yard with an orchard, flowers and vegetable garden. Gudrun considered her best years were when she was raising her family. She was a dedicated and patient mother and homemaker. Gudrun loved gardening, birdwatching, travelling, being with children, dancing, curling, playing the piano, bowling and learning. She had a strong social conscience, volunteering and donating to many causes. With her artistic flair, she created elaborate costumes, flower arrangements and wedding cakes. Gudrun and Herb went dancing regularly, including 40 years of square dancing in Saskatoon. Family car trips included California, Illinois, and BC. After her children grew up, she continued to travel, including visiting relatives in Sweden. Gudrun had a strong faith. She was called to ministry and convocated from St. Andrew's College in 1993. As a United Church Minister, she served in the Aylsham and Viscount pastoral charges. In lieu of flowers, Gudrun suggested donations to McClure United Church. Her Celebration of Life will be Sunday, April 23 at 2 p.m., at McClure United Church, Saskatoon. Condolences for the family may be left at 55]www.saskatoonfuneralhome.com. Death*Gordon Fraser died on 29 May 2020; With sadness we announce that Gord passed away Friday May 29, 2020 at home at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Debbie (Streich). Proud father of Don, Bradley (Kim) and Sheila Renaud, loving grandfather of Ashley, Kayla, Joshua and Carolyn and great-grandfather of Brandi, Alexis, Gabriel and Rinoa. Dear brother of Wendy, Diane, Laurie, Gail and Tom. Missed by many nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law of Daryl Streich and Wendy Streich. Predeceased by parents John and Winnie (Shier) Fraser, sister Brenda, wife Kaye Russett and mother and father-in-law Melba and Jake Streich. Gord was an avid Detroit Red Wings Fan as well as a passionate sportsman when it came to lob ball, card playing and darts. Some of his fondest memories were of time spent as a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 174 and time well spent at his country home with his family and furry friends.
